MAHWAH - If anyone is smiling after all of the snow the state has seen this winter, it's those who run New Jersey's ski resorts.

The manager of Campgaw Mountain in Mahwah says business is up 10 to 20 percent over last year. The past holiday weekend broke a record for the resort.

The mountain made about 3 feet of snow to get started, and hasn't needed to make more thanks to consistent snowfall.

Manager Kristin Orozovich says the snow is like free advertising. "When it's in their backyards, everybody comes out," she says. "So as long as it's snowing and people think about winter sports, then we definitely see an increase in our business."

Campgaw Mountain expects the snow to be on the ground well into the spring, and will likely be open through the end of March.
