BERKELEY TOWNSHIP - Some residents on Pelican Island are upset that reality TV stars Snooki and J-WOWW have rented a home in the Ocean County community to film their new MTV show.

TV crews are already moving into homes on Sunset Drive South to prepare for the show, which will focus on Nicole Polizzi raising her baby.

Walter Krehel worries the filming will fill the neighborhood with paparazzi, traffic, and noise. He says it's insensitive to Sandy victims still trying to rebuild.

However, another neighbor told News 12 New Jersey this morning that he believes township officials will handle the situation correctly.

Mike Loundy owns the home, as well as the "Jersey Shore" home in Seaside Heights that he rented out to MTV. In a statement he says, "I'm disappointed with some of my neighbors who have very little information and are automatically thinking the worst."

The home has been rented out for the MTV show for the next two months.
