WEST MILFORD - Two people were hospitalized after their small aircraft crashed at the end of the runway at Greenwood Lake Airport.

The two injured were air-lifted to a local hospital.

The aircraft, identified as a Cessna, is owned by a company that scatters ashes of the deceased from the air. However, it is not clear if that was the mission of the aircraft at the time of the accident.

Officials have not released the names or the conditions of the two people injured in the crash.
