EDISON - The New Jersey State Police has issued a Silver Alert for an 89-year-old Tinton Falls man who went missing yesterday.

The man was last seen at 7:30 p.m. when he left his home to go to Aldi food market on Route 36 in West Long Branch, according to the alert. He was driving a white 1998 Subaru Outback with New Jersey license plate YXH-12D. The man has a leaky heart valve and didn't have his medication with him.

Authorities ask anyone who sees the missing person to call 911 immediately.
