OCEAN TOWNSHIP - Someone has been stealing signs promoting a Greek festival in Ocean Township this weekend.

Dozens of signs stuck in the ground all over the community have vanished. A large sign in front of St. George Greek Orthodox Church on West Park Avenue was spared.

Many were snatched right from the private front lawns of their members.

"I'm upset and bothered," says Father Andrew Eugenis. "But they have to answer to God, not to us or the church, so I'm not really worried in the end. It will work itself out."

The festival, which runs from Friday through Sunday, will feature Greek dance, music and food.
