AVON-BY-THE-SEA - The overnight winter storm packed a serious punch for the Jersey Shore area.

About 10 inches of snow were reported in Brick Township, while Long Branch saw 11 inches.

Some shore towns in northern Monmouth County, including Sea Bright and Monmouth Beach, reported flooding near the coast.

Road crews have plowed and salted many of the main arteries, but side roads remain slick.
