EDISON - Experts say that a huge shift is not expected in the state Assembly as a result of tomorrow's elections. However, the primaries could have an impact on what's to come in November.

New Jersey's primaries will be closely watched. This year, all of the Garden State's General Assembly seats are up for a vote. However, in low-profile primaries, the voter turnout is often also low.

Rutgers University Professor John Weingart says "The November election is going to be extremely important because Democrats now control both houses of the legislature."

Weingart also says that a shift in power would be a huge boost to Gov. Chris Christie's (R-N.J.) agenda and possible future political aspirations.
