Sharks seen swimming in Long Beach Island waters

HARVEY CEDARS - Visitors and residents have been reporting an increase in shark sightings on Long Beach Island.

Fisherman have been reeling them in right from the beach.

A 4-5 foot shark was caught a few days ago in Harvey Cedars. A witness tells us the shark was in shallow water close to swimmers.

The shark was released back into the ocean.
