TRENTON - Authorities say three people, including two children, were killed today in a crash in Trenton.

Police say 43-year-old Jennifer Dawson, of Bensalem, Penn., was traveling northbound this afternoon on Route 29 when she lost control of her vehicle and drifted into the southbound lane. She struck a guardrail and was then hit by a pickup truck.

All three passengers in Dawson's vehicle were pronounced dead at the scene. They are identified as her daughter, 28-year-old Shaneek Dawson, and her granddaughters, 5-year-old A'iana Dodson and 4-year-old Trinidi Dawson.

Jennifer Dawson and the other driver, who has not been identified, were taken to Capital Health at Fuld for observation.

The cause of the accident is still under investigation. No charges have been filed against either driver.
