Severe weather knocks out power, causes delays at Newark Liberty International Airport
NEWARK - Severe weather moving through the area caused delays of several hours at Newark Liberty International Airport.
The Port Authority says a lightning strike near the airport caused some of the electrical equipment to switch on to generator power.
Power is back on and all the equipment has been reset to run off of the actual power.
