Seton Hall student shot, another assaulted

SOUTH ORANGE - Police are looking for three men they believe are responsible for an attack that left one Seton Hall University student shot and another pistol-whipped in an off-campus apartment last night.

Officials say the attack happened at the Grove Terrace apartment complex next to police headquarters. The students were taken to a nearby hospital where they were later released.

Police say that at least one of the attackers may also be a Seton Hall student, leading them to believe the victims and attackers knew each other prior to the incident.

Police say the suspects are in their 20s and drove a dark car. They expect to get more detailed information from both victims.
