WEST ORANGE - Seton Hall Prep hosted a visitation Monday for 2013 graduate Brendan Tevlin, who was shot and killed Thursday inside his car.
Several hundred mourners arrived to pay their respects to Tevlin, 19, of Livingston, who was shot on Walker Road in West Orange, a mile away from his alma mater. He was home on break from the University of Richmond.
Tevlin and his SUV were found by police in the parking lot of a nearby apartment complex. The passenger side window was shot out and an autopsy revealed he was shot multiple times. The Essex County prosecutor told News 12 that the 19-year-old was targeted.

"It's just hard to see something like this happen, especially to a really nice kid," says college friend Connor Hughes.
A $10,000 reward is also being offered by Crime Stoppers for any information leading to an arrest. An anonymous donor has added $15,000 to the reward, for a total of $25,000. The head of Seton Hall Prep has also said the school will add to the fund.
Over the weekend, the Essex County Prosecutor's Office released two grainy images of young men running from the area of the shooting. Investigators say the two may be witnesses and would like to question them.
