SOUTH ORANGE - Seton Hall University is offering a tuition break to top high school students who apply by Dec. 15. Students with high SAT scores and who rank in the top 10 percent of their class would pay a third in annual tuition. Regular tuition is $31,000.

Qualifying students would have their yearly tuition frozen for four years, as long as they maintain a 3.0 grade point average.

About one-sixth of this year's freshman class at Seton Hall would have qualified.
