JERSEY CITY - Crews say service has been restored after a water main broke overnight in Jersey City.

United Water officials say the 8-inch main broke on Bayview Avenue between Martin Luther King Drive and Ocean Avenue.

Approximately 150 residences in the area had their water service interrupted until repairs were completed.

In a statement, United Water spokesperson Chris Riat says, "We are thankful to the residents who were affected and remained patient as we made the repairs.
