NEWARK - Sentencing has been moved back for two former aides to Republican New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie who were convicted in the Bridge-Gate corruption case.

Bridget Kelly and Bill Baroni were scheduled to be sentenced on Feb. 21 on several corruption and fraud counts. But in an order issued last Friday, the sentencing was moved to March 13.

Kelly and Baroni were convicted in November in an alleged political retaliation plot involving creating traffic jams near the George Washington Bridge in Fort Lee.

They had sought to have the sentencing delayed so they could have more time to review pre-sentencing reports.

Kelly, Christie's former deputy chief staff, and Baroni, a top Christie appointee to the bridge authority, have appealed their convictions.

Christie has denied any involvement in the plot and wasn't charged.

The Associated Press wire services contributed to this report.
