NEWARK - The sentencing for the two Bridge-Gate defendants will likely be postponed, according to officials.

Bridget Kelly and Bill Baroni are scheduled to be sentenced on Feb. 21 on several corruption and fraud counts. They were convicted in November in an alleged political retaliation plot involving traffic jams at the George Washington Bridge.

They're seeking to have the sentencing delayed until March because they say they haven't been given the required time to review pre-sentencing reports.

In a letter to the judge Wednesday, prosecutors didn't oppose the request, and wrote the sentencing could be moved to the middle of March. The judge still has to rule.

Kelly, Gov. Chris Christie's former deputy chief of staff, and Baroni, a top Christie appointee to the bridge authority, have appealed their convictions.

The Associated Press wire services contributed to this report.
