NEW BRUNSWICK - State Sen. Barbara Buono officially kicked off her campaign for governor of New Jersey.

The democratic state senator made her announcement surrounded by supporters at New Brunswick High School. Buono says she will get New Jersey residents back to work, criticizing Gov. Chris Christie for not doing enough to rescue the state's struggling economy.

William Araujo, a planning board member from Edison Township, says he will also seek the democratic nomination for governor. Gov. Christie will formally kick off his re-election campaign tomorrow in Iselin.
