SEASIDE HEIGHTS - Seaside Heights Mayor William Akers says residents of the hard-hit community will be able to return to their homes beginning tomorrow.

Akers says only those people who have had their homes safety inspection will be issued a certificate of occupancy so they can move in on a permanent basis.

The mayor also announced the borough will be opening up the bid for the boardwalk on Thursday. The awarding of the bid will take place on Jan. 11. The deadline for the completion of the boardwalk will be May 10.
