Search postponed for 16-year-old swept away at Bradley Beach

BRADLEY BEACH - Police in Bradley Beach have postponed the search for a 16-year-old who was swept away early this evening.

According to police, the teenager, from Neptune, and two others were pulled away from the shore. Rescue teams were able to pull two out of the water, but were not successful with the third.

The search was suspended when a storm front rolled through the area, but the chief of police says rescue teams will resume operations at 7 a.m. Friday.

No lifeguards were on duty in Bradley Beach at the time.
