Search for cold-case killer continues

JERSEY CITY - A Hudson County detective is trying to heat up a cold case as he searches for the person who killed Catrina Hilton, an 18-year-old honor student.

Hilton's battered body was discovered beneath a pile of rocks at Bayview Cemetery. Her family is still distraught over the way she was found.

Hilton was last seen at her job at a Mandee store on Jan. 14, 2006. She was then listed as missing. Her body was found 23 days later. Officials are asking people to come forward with information since they say someone other than the killer has information about the case.

The Hudson County Prosecutor's Office can be reached at 201-915-1345.
