Scuba divers attempt to 'drown' cancer

ROCKAWAY TOWNSHIP - Two scuba experts are going to great depths to help fight cancer.

Robert Morris and Chris Providence are going to spend 24 hours under water to help raise money for cancer research.

The unique fundraiser is taking place at Kimswim Pool Academy in Rockaway Township. They started at noon Friday and won't surface until noon Saturday.

The divers collected donations, but visitors are also tossing money into the pool for the cause.

A block party was held in honor of the effort.
