ROCKAWAY - Students at Copeland Middle School in Rockaway, who were too young to remember when planes crashed into the Twin Towers, are learning about the Sept. 11th attacks.

The students are also learning how they can turn 9/11 into a positive date. Adele Black, a teacher at Copeland Middle School, has written a lesson plan that will be used around the country about how people came together after the attacks.

Black says her husband was a consultant for the Port Authority and had a meeting on Sept. 11. She says it was a terrifying day and waited hours to hear from her husband. Now Ms. Black hopes to teach a legacy of hope.
