School of Rock students to perform in NYC charity event

MONTCLAIR - Students representing The School of Rock in Montclair will perform tomorrow at the Live Aid Remade event in New York City.

The teen musicians will perform songs from the original Live Aid concerts in Philadelphia and London.

The event, held at the Gramercy Blender Theater, celebrates the 25th anniversary of the 1985 Live Aid concerts.

Ticket sales from the event will be donated to Music For Relief, a non-profit organization established by the rock band Linkin Park, which seeks to bring the music community together to raise awareness and funds for victims of natural disasters across the globe.
