ASBURY PARK - The Asbury Park Board of Education will hold a special closed meeting tonight to consider closing one of its schools.

The 420 students who currently attend the Barack H. Obama Elementary School would reportedly be sent to the city's two other schools if the board decides to shut the school down.

Several parents interviewed by News 12 New Jersey said they strongly opposed the idea.

The meeting will take place at 7 p.m. at the Bradley Elementary School on Third Street.
