HACKENSACK - Children being cared for at Hackensack University Medical Center received a special surprise this morning straight from the North Pole.
Santa Claus video chatted with the children to let them know they’ve made the ‘nice’ list this year and that Santa is thinking of them this holiday season.
Hospital administrators partnered with Cisco Systems to set up wireless computers. The computers were placed in the patients’ rooms for a personal conversation with Santa.
Colleen Kearney, the hospital’s administrative director, says there are about 30 children who are receiving long-term care at the hospital.
For many of those children, this is the only way they are able to chat with Santa and present their holiday wish list.
