OCEANPORT - The approximately 273 evacuees living in the Clubhouse at Monmouth Park are begging officials not to forget about them.

Many of the residents have been told that the facility would be closing on Monday, leaving many of them wondering if there's any place for them to go next.

One potential spot for housing is at Fort Monmouth.

FEMA tells News 12 New Jersey that code inspections have been completed on 42 townhouses and eight apartment buildings on the base.

A decision is still needed on when people can move in and who will get inside those units.
