LITTLE FERRY - Residents in Little Ferry and Moonachie suffered heavily during Hurricane Sandy, but despite the damage, the Christmas spirit is alive.

Residents celebrated Christmas in their home in the middle of repairs being made.

In Moonachie, a sign reads, "Sandy couldn’t take the spirit of Christmas."

Residents say that without the help and kindness of the volunteers that came after the storm, Christmas wouldn’t be as enjoyable as it is now.
