LITTLE FERRY - A Superstorm Sandy victim in Little Ferry is still trying to put her house and life back together nearly one year after the storm hit.

The entire first floor of Joanne Lobretto's home was destroyed by Sandy's floodwaters, including walls, furniture and appliances. She says the hardest part of the last year has been thinking about the items she cannot replace.

"My late husband's pictures, my children's videos of their wedding, all my grandchildren's pictures - you can’t replace that," said Lobretto.

She says she's made it through by leaning on her family and friends. Workers are putting the finishing touches on Lobretto's new home, and she says she hopes to have the house back to normal by November.
