KEANSBURG - It's been two months since Sandy devastated the Garden State. In Keansburg, many residents are facing the New Year displaced from their homes or living in homes they hardly recognize.

Residents still reeling from the devastation left behind by Sandy are finding themselves digging and pumping yet again because of yesterday's nor'easter.

Around 200 Keansburg families still cannot return home. For them, it can be difficult to see the bright side of the holidays.

One resident tells News 12 New Jersey that with all the devastation, he simply wasn't in the holiday spirit this year. He hopes to be more in the spirit next year after restoring his home back to normal.
