BRICK - Sammy, the cocker spaniel who was once abandoned and abused, has found a new home.

According to Sammy’s official Facebook page, the dog has been gaining weight and exercising along with three other dogs at his new home.

In March, Keith and Shauna Morgan told authorities that they found a cocker spaniel on the side of the road in a garbage bag in Wall Township. It was later revealed by authorities that the couple was the dog’s registered owners.

They face animal cruelty charges.
