EDISON - The hottest spot in New Jersey Monday was an Edison pavement supplier that received a shipment of de-icing materials, making it a popular place for anyone that uses the cold weather products.

Four trailers full of rock salt and calcium chloride has arrived and six more are on the way, making TriState Pavement Products the place to be if you are a snow removal contractor.

Employees from Design Fencing came there from Staten Island to stock up. Dennis Hazen says the company just can't get salt. "It's impossible to get," he says. "More snow keeps coming and no salt is coming. Yesterday we drove an hour away and they sold out before we got there."

Bryan Palmer of TriState Pavement Products says they have what people need. "No one else can give it to them," he says. "Hard work, that's how we got so much of it. Put our time and resources into the product and it paid off. "

Lots of local contractors showed up, but so did some homeowners.

The product that arrived Monday came all the way from Minnesota and Utah.
