NEW BRUNSWICK - Graduation ceremonies at Rutgers University this weekend are expected to tie up traffic in the area.

The commencement ceremonies kicked off today, but the largest one is slated for Sunday, likely created heavy delays on Route 1, Route 18 and the New Jersey Turnpike.

As many as 50,000 people are expected to watch 12,000 graduates receive their diplomas at the school's New Brunswick campus.
