EDISON - For the first time in over three years, more New Jersey residents have a negative view of Gov. Chris Christie.  

A new Rutgers-Eagleton poll says Christie's approval rate is at 42 percent, with a 45 percent negative view.

That is the lowest favorable view since the governor took office.

The poll has a margin of error of plus or minus 4.2 percentage points.
