NEW BRUNSWICK - The Rutgers community is considering what effect the scandal surrounding a controversial video showing ex-coach Mike Rice mistreating players will have on the legacy of the university.

Sports columnist Jerry Carino calls the situation surrounding the men's basketball program a "train wreck."

Rutgers is moving from the Big East to the Big 10 conference. It is now doing so with out a men's basketball coach or an athletic director.

News 12 New Jersey has not yet received a reaction from the Big 10 on the scandal.
