Route 130 named most dangerous road in NJ

BURLINGTON CITY - Walking across the street is like taking your life in your own hands on some New Jersey roadways.

News 12 New Jersey spoke to pedestrians on Route 130 in Burlington City about crossing what has been named the most dangerous road in the state. The Tristate Transportation Campaign used traffic fatality reports to find the most dangerous roads in New Jersey.

The five worst roads named by the Tristate Transportation Campaign are Route 130 in Burlington County, Route 40 in Atlantic County, Route 1 in Middlesex County, Route 549 in Ocean County and Route 1 in Union County.
