EDISON - A Denville man is facing charges after allegedly threatening a case worker from Meals on Wheels in Lakewood.
Police say Richard Cassidy became irate when his elderly aunt in Jackson received a letter stating that she would be removed from the program. They say he called and said that if it were to happen, he would go down there with guns and kill everyone.
Police seized several firearms and ammunition from Cassidy's home. He is charged with making terroristic threats and possession of a high-capacity ammunition magazine.
