Reward raised in murder of Trenton pharmacist

TRENTON - The reward has been raised for information leading to an arrest in the murder of a Trenton pharmacist.

Arjun Reddy Dyapa, known as "Mr. Reddy," was gunned down last Friday. A group called RxPATROL, operated by Purdue Pharma L.P., is now offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of Dyapa's killer.

The new reward is in addition to $2,500 previously offered by Independent Pharmacy Alliance of America (IPA). RxPATROL says it offered a $10,000 reward after a pharmacist was killed in Sacramento, Calif. and that suspects were found within days.

Trenton police say they are welcoming the increased reward. They say they are working leads and checking surveillance video in the hopes they track down a suspect.
