Reward offered for person who left sickly dog on Newark street

The Associated Humane Society of Newark is offering a reward for the arrest of the person found guilty of dumping a sickly male pit bull

NEWARK - The Associated Humane Society of Newark is offering a reward for the arrest of the person found guilty of dumping a sickly male pit bull on the streets of Newark.

The society is offering $3,000 for the capture of the dog's former owner. In his current state, the Medical Department says it is unsure if the dog will survive.

If you have any information on the whereabouts of the pit bull's former owners, please call the Humane Society of Newark at (973) 824-7080.
