Revel casino aims to bring business back to AC

ATLANTIC CITY - Revel, the casino-resort opening April 2, is hoping to bring big business back to Atlantic City.

Gambling is only part of the $2.4 billion resort, along with a luxurious spa, 14 restaurants and 10 pools. Revel even lets guests go right to their rooms without crossing the casino floor.

The project created thousands of temporary construction jobs and promises 5,000 permanent jobs when it opens.

Beyonce will headline the casino's Memorial Day grand opening ceremony on May 25 and perform two other shows that weekend.
