KEYPORT - Keyport's downtown is forever changed as today business owners and residents recover items of importance after Friday's massive fire.

More than 40 people, most of them firefighters, were treated for various health issues. Eight firefighters were taken to the hospital when part of a building collapsed, however all of them had non-life-threatening injuries.

Three adjacent buildings on W. Front Street in Keyport's downtown have been knocked down to a pile of rubble and debris.

The Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office says the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
