WOODBRIDGE - Residents of the Woodbridge apartment building that was destroyed by a fire last Tuesday are restless to look for their possessions amid the rubble.

The tentative plan is to scoop out the apartments using an excavating machine and let residents pick through the debris.

Middlesex Management, which runs the apartment complex, says it needs to hear back from an insurance company before choosing a demolition firm.

Residents say they have not received answers from building management and that the salvage process is taking too long. They have not been allowed back into the building due to structural damage.

Middlesex Management hopes to have answers on Tuesday regarding when the demolition process will take place.
