BELMAR - Residents gathered on the Ocean Avenue boardwalk Saturday to continue July Fourth weekend celebrations.

Many were out because the rain had finally stopped. Some congregated at the corner of 9th Avenue to barbeque, lounge around and play games.

There was some concern that Hurricane Arthur would lead to rip currents by the beach, but luckily that has not been the case in Belmar.
