NEWARK - Three New York City area airports, including Newark Liberty International, have been ranked as the worst in the country, according to a recent survey of Travel and Leisure magazine readers.

The magazine asked readers to rate airports at 30 U.S. cities on a variety of topics, including food, shopping, on-time performance, and the efficiency of airport employees, according to the report.

Readers ranked Newark, along with JFK and LaGuardia airports, last in food, entertainment, on-time performance and staff efficiency, said the report.
