Report: Ex-Hudson Co. Sheriff chiefs collecting salaries, pensions

JERSEY CITY - According to a report from The Star-Ledger, former Hudson County Sherrif's chiefs John Bartucci and Andrew Conti have been collecting both salaries and pensions.

Technically, one is a chief warrant officer and the other a director, which allows them to work around the rules. The head of the police and fire pension board, John Sierchio isn't convinced. He's calling for an investigation.

Earlier in the year, Kane in Your Corner spoke about Chief John Dough of the Essex County Sheriff's Department. Due to a loophole, Dough collects an extra $800,000 in salary and pension.

Sierchio says the Kane in Your Corner report on Dough brought everything to light and has made people care.State investigation begins following KIYC investigation
