Report: 5 New Jersey high schools rank in top 100

EDISON - New Jersey is home to several of the nation’s best high schools, according to a report by US News and World Report.

Five of the state’s high schools ranked in the top 100 schools in the nation.

Those schools include:

High Technology High School in Lincroft – No. 11

Biotechnology High School in Freehold – No. 13

Dr. Ronald McNair High School in Jersey City – No. 48

Bergen County Technical High School in Teterboro – No. 61

Bergen County Academies in Hackensack – No. 92

Along with the individual school rankings, US News and World Report also ranked the states based on high school performance. New Jersey ranked 15th overall.

The top state for high school performance was Maryland.
