MATAWAN - Rep. Frank Pallone went door-to-door to meet with voters at the Cheesequake Village active adult community in Matawan on Friday.

He reminded Democrats that the primary is next week. "We have to get out the vote," said Pallone. "I urge people to come out and vote Tuesday, Aug. 13. Even if they don't vote for me, I want them to come out."

Pallone is running against Assemblywoman Sheila Oliver, Rep. Rush Holt and Newark Mayor Cory Booker.

Mayor Booker and Jersey City Mayor Steven Fulop will meet constituents in Jersey City on Saturday.
