UNION BEACH - Relief efforts are continuing in Union Beach today.

Hundreds of homes were destroyed by wind and water during the recent storms.

Officials say that 90 percent of people in the area suffered damage from the storms. Many residents who didn't suffer damage are volunteering in the relief efforts.

The area's borough administrator says the greatest need in Union Beach is donated sheet rock, insulation and plywood. They are also hoping electrical, carpenter and plumbing unions might send professionals to donate their time.
