ELIZABETH - An accomplished native of Elizabeth is back home for the holidays and he's giving back to the community where he learned to play football.

Redskins football player Jerome Murphy is giving out hundreds of Thanksgiving turkeys to families throughout the city.

He says it's his way of reaching out, especially to children, and giving them the inspiration they need to keep pushing for greatness.

The city plans to host many more.
