WAYNE - Red Cross volunteers have left their lives behind to help storm victims rebuild theirs.
Nearly 1,000 Red Cross volunteers have been in New Jersey since Hurricane Irene hit. Volunteers like Diane Valoff of California give weeks of their time to recovery efforts each year. She says the gratitude, the hugs, the smiles they get make it all worth it.
Volunteers deliver meals twice a day as residents work to clean their homes following the floods.
