Ravens running back Ray Rice arrested in Atlantic City, faces assault charge

ATLANTIC CITY - A dispute between Baltimore Ravens running back Ray Rice and his fiancée became physical in Atlantic City this weekend, landing both of them in handcuffs, police say.

Authorities say Rice and Janay Palmer were arrested at Revel Casino early Saturday morning.

Both are facing assault charges and were released after the incident.

Rice played at Rutgers University and was drafted in the second round of the 2008 draft by the Ravens.
